HIMSS26 APAC: Inside Singapore’s Healthcare Innovation
Singapore's public healthcare system will take center stage at the 2026 HIMSS APAC Health Conference & Exhibition, which offers an inside look at one of the world's leading digitally enabled healthcare ecosystems.
Hosted by HIMSS and SingHealth, the conference will feature a dedicated Singapore Public Healthcare Pavilion with thought leadership from senior healthcare executives and clinicians. Exclusive hospital visits will complement this showcase, providing first-hand insight into how Singapore’s healthcare organisations are advancing artificial intelligence, digital transformation and integrated models of care.
Taking place 23 to 25 August 2026 in Singapore, HIMSS26 APAC will bring together healthcare leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore how collaboration, innovation and technology adoptioncan accelerate healthcare transformation. Registration for HIMSS26 APAC is now open.
At the Singapore Public Healthcare Pavilion, Singapore’s three public healthcare clusters — SingHealth, the National University Health System (NUHS) and the National Healthcare Group — will join the Ministry of Health Singapore and national HealthTech agency Synapxe to showcase digital health initiatives, AI applications and innovations supporting care delivery across the country’s public healthcare system.
The experience will continue after the conference with the HIMSS26 APAC Hospital Visit Programme, featuring two of SingHealth’s hospitals, Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and Sengkang General Hospital (SKH); NUHS’s National University Hospital and Alexandra Hospital; as well as NHG Health’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Registered participants will visit leading institutions to see how digital strategies are being translated into clinical and operational practice and gain first-hand insight into the transformation journeys of some of Singapore’s most respected healthcare organisations.
- At SGH, delegates can observe how tertiary care is delivered at scale across more than 50 specialties within an institution consistently ranked among the world’s top 10, while at SKH, which was recently recognised among the World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2026 by Newsweek, delegates will learn how autonomous robotics is reshaping healthcare logistics and what it takes to implement and scale these technologies in a busy hospital environment.
- At Alexandra Hospital, attendees will learn how Singapore’s first integrated general hospital is reimagining healthcare to provide seamless, whole-person care from hospital to home. At National University Hospital, delegates will explore how Singapore's University Hospital leverages its academic health ecosystem to translate research breakthroughs into digital and data-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes at scale.
- At Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), delegates will gain insights into NHG Health’s digital health transformation journey towards the next generation healthcare paradigm with Intelligent Health. The sharing will showcase how NHG Health is advancing connected, data-driven care through the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records, delivering a seamless patient experience through a unified digital front door, and scaling AI for enterprise impact. Delegates will also experience an on-site demonstration of NHG’s Patient Self-Service Booth, which received the OpenGov Asia Recognition of Excellence Award 2026 for reimagining patient engagement by transforming fragmented healthcare touchpoints into a unified, patient-centric digital ecosystem.
Each visit will show how technology, governance, clinical workflows and organisational culture work together to enable meaningful, sustainable healthcare transformation. Participants will leave with practical perspectives to inform and inspire digital health initiatives within their own organisations.
Singapore’s healthcare leaders will also take the stage through keynote presentations and educational sessions. Speakers include Benedict Tan, Group Chief Digital Strategy Officer and Chief Data Officer, SingHealth; Professor Kenneth Kwek, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer (Digital and Future Health), SingHealth; Adjunct Associate Professor Eric Wong, Group Chief Digital Health Officer, NHG Health; Adjunct Associate Professor Gao Yujia, Assistant Group Chief Technology Officer from NUHS; and Andy Ta from Synapxe. They will share perspectives on digital transformation, AI adoption and the future of healthcare delivery.
