HIMSS has assembled a diverse group of healthcare leaders, digital health experts, patient advocates and technology innovators to help shape the educational programme for the 2027 HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition, taking place June 8–10, 2027, in Barcelona, Spain.

The 18-member HIMSS27 Europe Programme Committee brings together expertise from across healthcare delivery, digital transformation, technology, public policy, research, data and analytics, nursing, health economics and patient advocacy. Members represent organizations and institutions including the OECD, Oracle Health, KPMG, Biocat, openEHR International, Sectra, Swiss Medical Network and healthcare providers across Europe and the Middle East. 

The committee also includes perspectives from government and public health, patient organizations and the technology sector, with members holding roles ranging from chief information and technology officers to digital transformation leaders, health economists, patient advocates and clinical informatics experts.

The committee represents a broad geographic perspective, with members from Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Portugal, France, Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates. Together, their experience spans national and regional health systems and healthcare organizations, providing a range of perspectives to inform the development of the HIMSS27 Europe programme.

The Programme Committee members will contribute their knowledge and experience to help shape sessions and discussions around the opportunities, challenges and real-world priorities facing healthcare leaders across Europe and beyond.
